I have been at this yard for about two months now but feel ive been here for years…. Very welcoming family and always there to give a hand. I have my horse on full livery and the stable is always super turned out. The horse walker is a big asset for those days you dont make it to the yard or bad weather days. Highly recommend Orchid Stables…..

I can’t recommend orchid stables enough. Both Ruth and James patients and kindness goes beyond words. All the horses get top quality minding with a brillaint routine. Facilities are amazing with loads of quiet hacking . Ruths teaching skills are excellent and her confidence building for me is going from strenght to strength. They have made me feel part of the family from day one. Beautiful family yard. Top class !!

My daughter has spent a long and wonderful summer horse riding in Ruth & James stables.
The Full Livery option left us in no doubt that the horse was well looked after when we were not there.
Riding lessons were excellent – praise when earned, but also talking to my daughter in a way that made her feel positive accountability and realise that her progress and enjoyment, also depended on her. It worked perfectly and she loves it.
Hacks in the area are safe and fantastic, as was the group week with other people in the stables.
You are always made feel welcome and I certainly would recommend Orchard Stables. We will be back once we find the right horse for us, with the other one now happy, retired and in foal.

Orchid stables is a beautiful yard. Ruth and James take exceptional care of the horses and are always so friendly and helpful, made me feel right at home straight away. There’s a lovely relaxed, friendly atmosphere here. Ruth is also a great instructor and so knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this yard!

I have never come across a better yard than Orchid stables. The facilities are top class, providing the horses with great care and comfort. I call this place my second home and Ruth and James truly make me feel like part of the family. Cannot recommend highly enough.
