Ruth’s coaching philosophy is centered on building a strong foundation and a confident partnership between horse and rider. While the journey is a personal one, we are incredibly proud of the riders who have trained with us and gone on to achieve their goals.
From young riders making their debut at local shows to experienced competitors aiming for bigger events, our clients consistently demonstrate significant improvement in their performance and confidence. The Orchid Stables family is made up of a diverse and talented group of riders. Whether they’re training with us for local Pony Club events, AIRC Riding Club competitions, or preparing for national and international championships, we celebrate every achievement.
We are proud to have helped riders:

Ruth has coached many riders from grassroots to International level. She has helped source suitable horses for her riders and then cement the partnerships through correct and structured coaching.
Having worked herself in Germany as a working pupil, Ruth experienced first hand how beneficial it is for riders to travel abroad and gain experience. Orchid Stables is excited to greet international riders to come on training packages and experience Irish eventing and showjumping first hand under Ruth’s expert guidance.
