Ruth Invited to Coach at AIRC Grassroots Jump Series

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news — Ruth has been invited to coach at the upcoming AIRC Grassroots Jump Training Series this September 2025!
This innovative series, organised by the Association of Irish Riding Clubs (AIRC), is designed specifically with Grassroots riders in mind. The format focuses on development, learning, and progression rather than pure competition, and it’s something Ruth is incredibly passionate about.
The series includes a number of qualifying events leading up to a final, giving riders multiple opportunities to grow and improve. One of the standout features — and something Ruth particularly values — is the two-round format. Riders complete their first round and then receive immediate feedback from experienced coaches. They can then go back and apply what they’ve learned in their second round.
Ruth believes this is a game-changer for developing riders:
“It’s such a beneficial format for Grassroots competitors. Having the opportunity to take feedback on board and try again removes the pressure of a one-shot performance. Riders build confidence, improve in real-time, and walk away with a real sense of achievement.”
This approach encourages learning through doing, which helps riders grow in confidence and capability. It also creates a more supportive and educational environment at competitions, which is something the AIRC has always championed.
Ruth is genuinely looking forward to being part of the journey for many riders this season and is honoured to be involved in such a progressive and rider-focused initiative.
